Just found your blog. Wow! What an incredible story. Even more....an incredible testimony of the Lord's faithfulness and healing power! Praise God!! Our son also has SBS. His malrotation occurred at age 4! He was a happy, healthy little boy, and all of a sudden one day had severe abdominal pains. He had a midgut volvulus as well. He lost about 80% of sm., and 1/2 colon. I will not go into the full story, but simply say...a yr. later, he is doing really well! No more TPN, 18 hrs. on tube feeds, etc.... Other than that, no one would ever know he was "sick." We also have a blog.....www.curiousaboutcaed.blogspot.com
